Be My Parent

Be My Parent is the family finding service of the British Association for Adoption and Fostering (BAAF). The first Be My Parent paper featuring children needing permanent families was produced 30 years ago and continues today, featuring about 200 children each month. In May 2007 we launched our Be My Parent website which features a similar number of children, some of whom are also in the paper and some who are not. With the benefit of new technology we have been able to add short videos to some of the children’s profiles which convey so much more about the children. The website is also a valuable source of information about adoption.
