CVAA Impact Report 2023/24

CVAA’s Impact Report 2023/24 was presented at this year’s AGM in September to trustees and CEOs. This presentation includes CVAA’s highlights throughout the year, recent data on VAAs and the placement of children and CVAA’s priorities for the coming year.

CVAA highlights this year include:

• The publications of the CVAA’s 2024-2027 Strategy ‘Shaping the Future of Adoption Services’, CVAA’s Manifesto for Adoption, CVAA influencing toolkit for VAAs and adopters ahead of General Election and the My People: the vision for a new network and hub to support children’s lifelong relationships.
• Developed CVAA’s first ever Fundraising Strategy and submitted first applications for grant funding.
• Led collaborative efforts with members to launch VAA advice guide series which has had phenomenal impact on recruitment.
• Celebrated 30 years of CVAA AT Members dinner at the annual conference.
